Prior to its second campaign, YS2's antenna was given a Voxopolis flag, the flag of a fictional planet named after the original builder, "Voxhumana2000". Yankee Siege II did not do well in its first outing, losing to Duck! in the first round of a private tournament, then to Thrasher Shark in the loser's bracket. Yankee Siege II also had a horizontal configuration, where the forks were swapped for red lego 3×2 slopes to absorb the shock from the spinner.
Like the Roblox build, Hexbug Yankee Siege II is a four-wheeled drum spinner with hinged forks at the front although unlike the Roblox build, the forks do not lift, but act solely as ground game to get underneath its opponents. Yankee Siege II, or YS2, is a customized Hexbug Minotaur, designed after the Roblox combat robot of the same.
